1.3 Million Brits Failed to Reveal their Medical Conditions

Brits travelling overseas find themselves spending more on their health because of failing to inform their insuring agent about pre-existing medical conditions. The report of Sainsbury Bank suggests that over the past 12 months almost 1.3 million individuals have failed to state their medical condition to their Health  Insurance company and almost half a million people with medical difficulties sacrificed their insurance when it came to travelling abroad.

The research also states that the fear of being refused a policy and the high premiums prevent individuals from revealing their medical condition. However, withholding important information would mean your cover may be invalidated and in the worst scenario you might have to face large hospital bills.
