Brits put Travel Insurance to the Last Moment

The latest research by AA reveals that a great number of British holidaymakers keep Travel Insurance arrangements to the last minute. The survey also revealed that most of the single-trip travel insurance policies for a holiday in Europe are bought only within three days of travel, or even at times just hours or minutes before departure.

Almost 17 per cent of the people travelling to Europe so without any travel insurance cover. Christian Young of AA says that travellers who leave things for the last moment invariable are not well organised and often miss out on good deals and scramble for last moment cover. These people often forget to carry essentials like their passport before leaving the country. It is advisable to have travel insurance cover before the approaching bank holiday weekend.
